Guest : Hello I am staying in Gateway#XXXX I didn't see my room number on the elevator sign inside the Gateway garage so I am now driving down hwy 6 to another building, is my room in this building here?

SummitCove: I am sorry you are having trouble finding your room, did you say you are staying in Gateway but your now driving down Hwy 6 looking for it, sir where are you now what do you see?

Guest: Yes, I am staying in Gateway but I didn't see my room number on the elevator sign from my car in the parking garage so I am driving towards Keystone where is the room?

SummitCove: Sir your room is inside the Gateway Building on the far North East side of the building.

Guest: Do you know if I can park closer to the elevator so I don't have to walk?

SummitCove: Sir, I am not sure which spots are open but you should be able to drop someone off near it if you need to.

Guest: OK so I will drive back and park next to the elevator and look at the sign again.

SummitCove: Sir, I can assure you that the room is in the Gateway building you might have to check another sign or walk inside the building to find your room.

Guest: OK I will drive back there again but if its not there I am coming back to the office.

SummitCove: Sir if the ski condo isn't there please call me back, enjoy your Keystone Vacation and have a good night at Resort Keystone

Guest of the Day - I want to ski - I want more towels!

6:00 a.m.
Caller- I am at you office and nobody is here! I have a reservation today Resort Keystone and I want to pick up my keys.

SC- Sir, your reservation starts today, your keys will be available at 4p.m. There is still somebody in the unit you reserved and they have until 10a.m. to depart. We will then clean the unit and make it available to you at 4p.m., just as you confirmation indicates.

Caller: What am I supposed to do until then?? I want to ski.

SC: Well, you can have some breakfast and then when the lifts open later this morning, you can go skiing.

Caller: Ok. I can do that. I need some extra towels. Can you deliver them to my car?

SC: I'm sorry we can't do that. Please enjoy your day skiing. I'm sure you will find the amount of towels in the unit sufficient.

Guest of the Day 12/3/08

Caller: I need 25 more towels, please.

SC: Ma'am, we supply two towels per person. How many of you are there in that studio?

Caller: It's just me and my husband, but I will not use a towel more than once and I will not do laundry while I am here.

SC: There is a delivery charge for additional linens.

Caller: That's fine. I just can't tolerate the thought of reusing a towel.

So much for being "green"!

At 11 p.m. on Thanksgiving we got the following call:

Caller: I'm locked out of my condo and it's cold outside.
SummitCove: I'm sorry about that. Let me give you directions to the backup lock box.
Caller: I actually want to go shopping first. The outlets have great deals! Can I just call you back in a few hours and then get the information?
SC: I would like to go back to sleep, so maybe you can write down the directions and use them when you get back from shopping?
Caller: What a great idea! Let me get a pen.
SC: Have a good night.

Colorado Tourism Conference

Here is a view from the top of the hill tonight at the Colorado Tourism Conference in Beaver Creek. What a perfect time of year it is to be up here. Beaver Creek did an outstanding job and Colorado Tourism Office put on a heck of a good party tonight. Great work on the cool atmosphere and good food and beverage tonight. It is always nice to see a show put on by professionals and at the Tourism Conference tonight Beaver Creek made Colorado proud! Kudos to all that played a great role in making this a success.
